Naga is a versatile and passionate leader with around 20+ years of global experience spanning USA and India. As a full time angel investor, Naga has invested in 8 startups through Indian Angel Network (IAN) and leads IAN’s Impact Ventures initiative.
Naga advises Acumen Fund – a New York based impact venture fund and also serves as an independent director in one of its portfolio companies, Guardian, a micro-finance venture working in Water and Sanitation. He is involved with mentoring and advising Acumen’s investments including Husk Power Systems in Bihar, Pine Needle Power plant in Uttrakhand and Aravind Eye Hospital in Tamilnadu.
Naga is also a Venture Advisor at United Seed Fund that invests in early stage ventures serving BoP and is part of Ennovent’s Impact Circle.
Earlier in his career, Naga was the President of CDC Software (world’s 12th largest enterprise software company) South and Southeast Asia (SSEA) responsible for 10 countries’ operations managing sales and the India Engineering
COE in Bangalore, the largest R&D and support centre for CDC Software’s enterprise software product lines. During his tenure CDC Software was shortlisted for the prestigious NExT Practices Award for “Promoting Innovation & Entrepreneurship 2011” by NASSCOM.
Currently residing in Bangalore, Naga holds a B.E. degree from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, India and an MBA degree from the San Diego/Kennesaw State University, United States.
